Frequently asked questions
Automation in industry
Which processes can an industrial company automate?
Production reports, clock-ins and hours per order, machine incident alerts, supplier orders and maintenance reminders. We usually start with whatever is done on paper or across several duplicate spreadsheets today.
Do I need an ERP to digitise the factory?
No. Often it is enough to connect what you already use (Excel, Holded, WhatsApp) or to build a simple custom app for operators, without the cost and rollout of an ERP.
Will operators have to learn new software?
As little as possible. We design mobile-first tools with few fields and big buttons, on top of platforms like Airtable. And we train the team so they can use them from day one.
How much does it cost?
For example, a simple app to log production reports from a phone usually takes between 10 and 15 hours, that is, between €700 and €1,050. Before we start, we tell you how many hours your project will need, with no commitment. You can check our rates here.
How much will I save?
It depends on how much time the task takes today. For example, if someone spends 45 minutes a day copying paper reports into a spreadsheet, that is about 16 hours a month; if that hour costs the company around €20, that is €320 a month. The automation pays for itself in about 4 months, and the errors from copying data by hand disappear too.
